EASSY is a project of a 10.500 km optical fiber submarine cable system which connects most of the African countries to Europe, Asia and the USA.
In 2010, HTI (Hentorial Telecom International- Dublin, Ireland) set up by the chairman of WIOCC, John Sihra, led this optical fiber submarine cable system to a big success.

HTI, with his wide experience, shall be appointed as a consultant for the NEAR Cable Project. A Letter of Intend for the consultancy job has been signed between HTI and Safari Cable Company. HTI shall work as the Project Coordinator, Consultant and Advisor for the System.
HTI, in conjunction with the Project Management Committee (PMC), and the Landing Stations will oversee the Installation, Testing/Commissioning of the system up to the “Ready For Provisional Acceptance (RFPA)” status and the handover of the System to the Management Committee.
