Safari Cable Company nowadays is a Network and Capacity Service provider of  Telecommunication and Internet technology in Somalia and developed the  implementation of a high capacity fiber optic Submarine cable in the North  Eastern Africa Region under the name of NEAR Cable System. (North Eastern  Africa Submarine Cable System)

This NEAR Cable runs from Port Sudan in the West of Africa to Bosaso in  Somalia in the East of Africa. Total length of the NEAR cable will be around  2100 km.
